We strive to continuously develop and implement new technologies and products to reduce our carbon footprint and make our practices more environmentally responsible.
Our commitment to environmental responsibility is present in our products, our facilities and our work habits. In our facilities, water is recycled and conserved, boilers are heated through cogeneration and precautions are taken to avoid product spills and pollution. Our commitment to environmental practices, as well as community relations and regulatory compliance, have resulted in receiving a NAPA Diamond Achievement Award from the National Asphalt Pavement Association in 2011.
Many of our products are designed to help engineers and local governments meet environmental goals. When developing our products, we strive to make them eco-friendly in composition and application. We carry eco-friendly products in the following categories:
Some of our products contribute to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credit. The LEED program was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council to provide building owners with measurable guidelines to reduce the environmental impact of the construction and maintenance of their buildings.
